Bhutanese silk scarf featuring eight fortunate signs. The khadar is 68" in length and 13" in breadth, with bright auspicious images of the eight lucky signs. The khadar represents purity and compassion and is worn or offered with incense at a variety of ceremonial occasions, including births, weddings, funerals, graduations, and the entrance or departure of visitors. They were formerly made of silk, but are now more typically made of cotton or polyester.
